Lydia's Story

My walk of faith began when I was seven years old. I learned about the Lord as a child but walked my own way for a time. Finally, at the age of 42, I gave my heart and life to Him. As part of my walk with the Lord, I listened to American Family Radio where I first heard about the opportunity to donate to American Family Association (AFA) from AFR Talk's program "Financial Issues" with Dan Celia. I felt led of the Lord to donate to AFA through a charitable gift annuity option, but my financial advisor at the time discouraged me and recommended I not follow through.

In my heart, I knew I wanted to follow through with a charitable gift annuity. I wanted to help AFA keep fighting the good fight and proclaiming the truth, so I got in touch with the AFA Foundation and was impressed by AFA's professionalism and kindness.
